Title: 4 Ways to be a better dirt bike rider.
Post by: woodybepierced on January 13, 2020, 11:53:41 AM
I took a good amount of time to gather this content, organize it and then create the video. It'd longer on purpose, a lot of content to talk through. Load it up when you have time to watch it through.

I'd also love your feedback on the content, the delivery, etc.

Have a great week y'all!

Sounds like everything Steve Hatch has been teaching for years. Two ways to be a better dirt bike rider: #1,Purchase Steve Hatch's videos and watch them over and over on your exercise bike and #2 take a Steve Hatch class. Great video of yours, the same things I tell kids that I see ride a Motocross track over and over making the same mistakes and not breaking it down to the basics skills and practicing them.

Very good video, it's not often people talk about all these aspects of being a good rider. Especially nutrition and mental health is often ignored.

That's what I have seen as I have been coaching more athletes and not just being an athlete. There is a lot of information out there, but there can be a lot of repetitive talk. Repetitive talk is not a bad thing though. Everyone listens differently, hears things differently and also decides to listen at different times. So we need different people saying 'the same thing', but with their own voice. That way the knowledge can be truly heard by more people.

Thanks! I've had a lot of people respond to me asking why I didn't go more into the racing side of things. My response, we're all riders first, racers second. There are more riders than racers. Even racers need fundamentals. I feel these fundamentals work for everyone across the board.

And as I have made nutrition and mental fitness a bigger part of my life, EVERYTHING has gotten better. My riding, my family life, my time with my kids. It's been a really cool experience growing as a human.
