Great success.
Just measured the magnet pickup and it was good. But dash would not turn on when spinning the front wheel nor would it record any speed with motor on.
Tried pressing the reset button on the underside of it and voila, it works!
It even turns itself on when spinning the front wheel now. Effin strange behavior.

So I tested the pickup wire and it's not damaged (at least not between the connectors), unsure on how to measure the pickup itself.
I did found that the two wires that Powers the dash were frayed and the positive one almost completely off. So I soldered them and covered them with heatshrink tubing, good as new.
When starting the bike is the dash supposed to light up any warning lights ? I can see a very fast yellow flicker on the right of the dash as soon as the bike starts, is it supposed to be like that ?
I'm thinking that maybe those to frayed wires have been in Contact with each other and wrecked mayhem with the dash...

Yeah, the dash powered on everytime I started the bike though. It was just like it couldn't sense the speedo or that the engine was running 😀
I'll look into all connectors, contrary to most I actually like electric.
The dash has no condensation at all, the shop where I bought it from said the headlight was brand new. Maybe they did something wrong when replacing it.

Hi, bought a used bike with 60hours on the meter.
Tried it today on the local track and had some issues.

The dashboard did not register speed or distance, Everything was at 0, even the ODO and ART.
Wierdest thing is that it started to work after I washed it ;) Anyone experienced something similar?
The bike has a extra hour counter thankfully.
Coming from a Honda XR650R I have a real difficult time gripping with my legs/knees(i'm 186cm), are aftermarket seat covers better than the selle dalle valle ?

And also coming from the Honda I struggled with the responsivness off idle, adjusted per the manual but even with both cable adjusters at their maximum im barely able to reach 2mm at the throttle grip.

Other than that I'm totally stoked over the bike, it's my new baby ;)
