I am looking at getting a some lights set up on my bike.  Am I correct that the wiring to the headlight on my bike would supply DC power?
Thanks!

General Discussion / Successful First Race (Video Added)
« on: May 22, 2017, 11:01:08 AM »
The new Sherco and I attended our first race yesterday.  The Salvage Sprint Enduro in Packwood Washington.  I had only had one ride on her previously and managed to get all my protective hardware installed along with heavy duty tubes to help against flats.  The event is held at an old lumber mill and the staging area/pits are inside a big old warehouse building.  You start out with a top gear run down a stretch of pavement then jump into some rough whoops, tight woods, through other buildings, more tight woods, a couple mud holes, off a loading dock, up a stair case, more woods then finish up on another pavement section on the way back into the staging area.  The bike worked awesome!  It ran down the high speed pavement like a thoroughbred I felt like I was on a supercross bike through the whooped out sections, and it went through the woods like a scalpel.  It gave me confidence.  The only thing I felt needed improvement was plushness over the rocks and roots.  However I have had very little setup time and have only set the sag and dialed the compression way down.  I love this thing!  The day was a hot one for us up here, mid 80's which made it a tiring day.  On my second of the nine 8 mile laps I got a flat front.  Upon tearing it apart i found the valve stem had ripped off.  I got a new tube in and was able to still have time to get all of my nine laps in.  I ended up 4th out of 11 in the Senior A class.  A good showing for me.  I am usually right at mid-pack.

Here is a shot of me landing off the loading dock.

And another in the urban assault section after coming through the doorway on the way to the stairs.

Below is a link to helmet camera footage of one lap.  Fun stuff!

General Discussion / Akrapovic Front Exhaust Guard
« on: February 13, 2017, 09:48:13 AM »
Does anyone know if there are any US companies offering a front pipe guard?
All I see are from the UK...

I see Matt Pope has one here:

And Jolly's Carbon here:

Clay,
Do you Import either of these?
