The 'choppiness' is something you will adapt to.  Took me a while.

Clay,
That looks production quality already.  I think you really nailed the suspension today's riders are looking for.  Also that motor looks to be oozing power and the style, downright breathtaking!  Hard Enduro here they come!

For just the occasional trip to the motocross track I wouldn't do anything other than some clicker changes to adjust the suspension.  Maybe swap your headlight for a number plate to avoid roost damage.

Wanted to give you guys an update......We should have a prototype in a couple of weeks. Basic 300cc two stroke in our frame. I'll post pics when that's done.

I have a concept in mind that I want to run past you guys...Ö.
Call it a Mountain Motorcycle. 250 or 300cc two stroke estart with kick start, carbureted with a minimalistic frame. No body work except fenders, adjustable seat height, maybe adjustable peg height and below 200 pounds. It would be aimed at Hard Enduro but would also be a great bike for guys who just trail ride in technical terrain. Quality suspension and components. May be a trials type engine or an off road engine. Not sure yet. (Using a trials engine lets you get away with a 4t type pipe that won't get hammered like a normal 2t pipe.)
The idea came form the Sur-Ron e bike. Pic attached.
By the way the frame would not wrap under the engine but the bike would come with a STRONG aluminum plate.
What do you guys think?

I'm not so sure about this.  The orange bike that was quite similar hasn't seemed to have caught on real well.

...How about you make a pipe that can retail closer to $150 then $250.. is that even possible? I know if pipes were cheaper id care less about smashing and just buy a new one more often.

Or make a thicker one like this.

The problem with a super thick expansion chamber is that it will transfer more of the damage to you cylinder.  Personally I would rather let the pipe act as a crumple zone.  Way cheaper and easier to repair than the cylinder.

What does rubbing on the seat do to it?

I am just looking for how to test the regulator, is there a test?
