General Discussion / Re: need clutch kit for 300se 2t 2020

motif, have you solved your issue? If pull got more stiff than initially then check for kinked clutch pipe, notched basket or dirty fluid. Let us know what you found. On my KTM's after a few years the basket would get some wear notches in it. I would file these down but once that was done they began to notch more rapidly as there was more slop between the plates and basket. The Rekluse design LOOKS like it would remedy a notched basket.

Hi, not yet. Will be checking cables soon and maybe will open the clutch cover. thanks

At the dealer all plates are kinda expensive, strange there is no aftermarket after so many years?

Hi,
my clutch lost all free play and it's very stiff, I guess after 120 hours it may need to be changed,
Do you recommend stock or there is aftermarket alternatives?

Sfade thanks for the info on the forks, definitely will remove oil. Iíve also read good comments on installing 1.0 ICS springs.

As for the footpegs, I felt a little high on the bike but it wasnít that bad. Iím 6í tall but I will consider it.

Hi, just a word on your 'high feeling' foot pegs.
Sherco fitted a very low, fkat bar in 2019 compared to the previous models.
Lots of owners, myself included, fitted bars with the old shape to feel comfortable in the cockpit.
Their bars were Oxia (an excellent in house brand) and the bend is the same as CR High Bend.

good to know, maybe I try renthal bars instead.

I've had stock KYB's with a 2018 Gasgas and worked WP's with a 2017 Husky TE300.  Honestly I preferred the worked WP's.  Obviously depends on the kinda riding you'll be doing, but I reckon you'll be happy either way.  If you're in the weight range for standard KYB's, maybe get the Factory.  If not, go racing and spend the money getting them set up for you.

you work for ktm don't you? lol
