Assume you have checked and clean the ground? Ground straps are problematic.

A new cable fixed my issue.

1. Charge Battery
2. Clean Connections, grounds too!
3. If still doesn't crank, remove starter, inspect.

It should pop start. I think you have to energize the CDI/Computer just prior to trying on these.

Sherco Tech / Re: 2021 counter balanced 300 2T's

I have a 2021 250. I thought the counter balance weight looked small compared to other counter balanced motors (ktm, jap 4 strokes). It seems that is the biggest weigh/shaft they could put into the engine without a major engineering update. I'm not sure it 100% cancels out the vibration, but it definitely helps with it.

Motor is smoother than non balanced motors, but not quite as smooth as a tpi Austrian bike, IMO. But by no means does the vibration, if really any, bother me.

Can't speak for a before and after on a 300, my .02$

Sherco Tech / ODI S-cam issue
« on: February 01, 2021, 08:32:06 AM »
Anyone else notice they can hear their throttle cable rub on the side of the cable guide on the ODI s-cam? I'm curious if its just me. I'm worried about it catching and sticking.

I picked up a new 250 se factory Friday. The odo was reading all over the place, either saying zero, actual speed or 10x actual speed. Will have to do some investigating tonight. It said I went 20 miles when I went about 5.

My 2019 tpi husky 250 will not crank the engine over if it is below 25F, -3C. It came with a Li ion battery. Will hardly spin the bendix. Get it about 10 degrees warmer, and it works just fine.

Guys, Have a new bike coming.

Who know what throttle housing they are putting on a 2021 250 se factory? Trying to figure out what ODI grip to use. Looks like the "S" cam's data doesn't show it for 2021's.

Any help is appreciated.
