Classifieds / Re: WTB - Front Wheel Spacers For KTM Wheel On A 2020 SEF 300
« on: February 10, 2021, 03:25:04 PM »
Just an FYI, I recently bought a set of their Wheel spacers so I can use my KTM wheels on my Sherco. The rear went in as expected, the left front spacer shoulder was too wide for my bike (2016 six days 300SEF). I got the wheel on but the brake rotor rubbed against the non movable part of the caliper.  I had to take about .080 eighty thousands off the shoulder to let the wheel come closer to the fork and center the rotor in the caliper.

That is great news!
It supports my guesstimation. With 1 magnet in the wheel, there should only be 1 Pulse per revolution.
This one is currently set at 11PPr.
which means when my average speed is showing 1mph
and max speed is 3mph
changing the PPr from 11 down to 1, everything will show about 10 times more/faster.

I bought a used 300SEF. The odometer and speedometer are only showing a fraction of what they should read.

I thought maybe the wire from the wheel sensor to the computer has a break in it and was only reading some of the time. I had a wire from a Trail Tech voyager, that fit the caliper hole and plugged into the Sherco computer and it reads about the same as the other one does.

can someone please tell me what your computer reads for "LIFE', which I believe to be wheel size.
and what does it show for "PPr", Pulse per revolution.

The owners manual just says not to adjust these parameters, but I see that they can be adjusted and I'm wondering if the previous owner changed one of these.

Did anyone remove the Rekluse clutch kit from their Sherco 4T, 2021-2014? I would like to buy one but that new price tag is hard to justify.
