I think your water seals pump must be replaced

ok! mine also had the same issue! i had to replace the water pump shaft.... it's not very cheap mine was like 80Ä with installation included. I think that sherco spare parts are expensive and there's not a lot from other vendors...

I saw a high consumption of liquid. I have added the pump and water fan expansion. Nothing change. Then I added fan to the radiator. The problem remains. I would like to know what that hole is ..... or do I close it ......?

You need to replace the seals. Pretty quick job.

That is a weep hole for the water pump.

The weep hole lies between two seals - one that keeps motor oil from the water pump (the oil side water pump seal) and the other to keep coolant in the pump. When the coolant side seal fails fluid drips from the weep hole and eventually leaks out the cover.

I have a bmw 650 dakar and this bike has the same system on the water pump. The weep hole is a warning system to tell you one of the seals is leaking. At least you can get to it easy!, the 650 needs all the LHS, covers to be removed and oil and water dropped!
Iíve just bought a seal kit for my bike!

Was it an easy job? Had the seal moved or failed?

Yes was easy because I changed the water pup last year.

The seals was different from the other, like a coin. very thin, black and grey.

Now changed with Viton Rubber seals.

Hey guys! I think I have the same problem, but I have some oil leaking from that weep hole. The bike is new to me - I just bought it earlier this week and for sure there is an oil leak in the area. I cleaned the bike up really well and Iím pretty certain I have oil leaking from there. The bike is a Ď16 250 se-r with 80 hours on the clock. Does oil leaking from there indicate the seal on the oil side is leaking?..

Cheers!
