2019 Sherco SER 450 R
« on: August 18, 2020, 01:41:48 PM »
Hi Lads

Just sold my Husqvarna Fe501 2016 and purchased a New 2019 SER 450 Racing
Not sure what to expect but  taking the bike out yesterday a few things I noticed
Gear Lever very stiff so I知 hoping this loosens up the more I ride the bike
The agile light steering is what I expected completely different to the Husky 501

Question : The only upgrades I haven稚 done to the bike is replacing the Standard Exhaust with the Acroprovic  Set Up ?
Is it worth while to spend the additional $$$ knowing the Fsctory Models come with this arrangement

Suspension :I知 too heavy for the standard set up
My weight is 130kg and I知 185 cms tall so what Springs and Rear Shocker should I buy to get this new bike to handle the way it should so I can really enjoy the open trails and hill climbs

As a mature Novice rider who just turned 50 i just like to cruise the trails and use  the throttle when needed
I知 not as young when I first started riding so I知 hoping this Sherco meets my Expectations

The new 2021 500 Sherco could be an option for the next update as well

G'Day mate, can't comment about the exhaust as I have a 300f Factory.
For the suspension, just take it to Chad's in Geelong and tell him to fix it. He does the Aus Factory race team so knows what is needed.
