Clutch basket
« on: November 19, 2020, 08:41:25 AM »
Do you guys know why Sherco changed the clutch basket and clutch hub for the 2Ts?

..and is it possible to upgrade to the new clutch assembly (2015 SE)
I did cross check the parts Manuel and it seems that it would be possible, but I am not a 100% certain.

And do you know of any alternative brand for an OEM clutch basket?

Which clutch do you have Adler or Surflex?

They shercos come with different clutch brands, the only way to know which clutch you have is to remove the clutch cover and see what name is stamped on the pressure plate.

2015/16/17 etc all have the same clutches, the 2014 was different.

Mine is an Adler, part number 3813.
I have a lot of clutch fade. So I was playing with the idea of perhaps upgrading the clutch basket to a new one and then getting rekluse core manual, which will supstentially improve the clutch.
it seems to me that that it would be possible, because the primary gear part number (3848) is the same up to 2020. But then I don't exactly know how the basket is attached. Thanks for the response.
