2021 300 SE-F Starter maintenance

Hi,

Recent owner of a 2021 300 SE-F, i was wondering what maintenance should one do on the starter system on this bikes?

My bike has 12h and it happned 2 times that the starter would not engage, but another push in the button it starter right after.

my understanding is that the first push on the starter button primes the engine, then the second push fires up the engine. There were several discussions on similar topics, eg:

My SEF 500 does this every so often.  Always rolls over and busts off on second push. 

On the 2T bikes, you could essentially do the KTM trick, and hold the kill button down, get motor rolling over and release kill button while stater button is still depressed.  This will prevent it from "binding" up when the engine stops mid way through a compression stroke.

Cant do this on an EFI bike, it floods.  I tried it on my 500 and it was not happy.
