Hi, sorry another oil question but getting a bit confused, it doesn’t take much!!
I have just bought a 2019 SE 250, first off-road bike but also first two stroke.
I have a four stroke road (S1000R) and a track bike (SV650) and just use which ever oil the local shop has available at the time. Currently have Motul 4t 5000 10W40 and Silkolene Super 4 10W40 in the garage.
For the Sherco the manual mentions engine and also gearbox oil, forgive my ignorance but I believe these are the same??
Originally I was going to use Motul 2T 10W40 transmission oil, but wondering if I can standardise with the four stroke oils.
The Motul site brings up the 4T 7100 for the Sherco which is the same as the Suzuki and BMW. Any benefit to the transmission oil?
