Weigth comparison Sherco 500 vs KTM 500

Hi. When moving around my garage those two bikes SHERCO 500 2020 and KTM 500 2017 I noticed the KTM noticeable lighter in handling. So I weighed them.

Both with same fuel level

There was 7 kg difference. Way too much in my opinion

But SHERCO is miles ahead regarding driving. I will never go back but I would like to see the new bikes lighter in future

Ktm is lighter because it’s made of cheese, Sherco built to last maybe!?

Ktms lighter for sure.
I still prefer Sherco.
