« on: April 05, 2021, 06:38:47 AM »
hello can anyone help with this one I was out ridding for the day and the fan started to make a rubbing noise due to mud and grass making contact when I pulled the grass/mud out I must of stopped the fan from turning.
Now it wont come on at all I have checked the fan with a power probe and it works fine so I t must be the feed or controller is there a fuse for the fan circuit?

There's both a fan relay and a fuse for the fan on the right side of the bike near the ignition coil and radiator. Take the tank and side panel off and you can see them on the wire coming from the fan. Check that wires are good and connected well - I got loose wire once (wire coming to fuse box).

On my se300 fuse was to small 5A. I have checked cable relay everything. On direct 12v everything was running. After measuring resistance of fan I decided to change fuse for 10A. Now itís working without problems.
