2021 KYB need to check oil level
« on: October 15, 2021, 09:23:57 AM »
How do I check the oil level in the forks? Got the ICS springs replaced a couple of months ago but just want to double check how much oil is in each leg. I know 345ml is what the manual calls for, back when I bought the bike removed 20ml and it improved a lot but stupid me forgot to tell the guy who replaced the ICS springs about the oil level so he probably topped it off at what the manual says.

I guess no one wants to answer your question. I don't know if there is a spec for oil level.  Just the amount of fork oil that is standard when you refill them.  Take them apart and change the oil in the outer tube and then you will know it's right.

Thanks, no big deal I found a nice video on youtube on how to service KYB forks.
