2022 250 Lights Removal
« on: November 01, 2021, 03:52:01 AM »
Having trouble finding a replacement front number plate that does not have the cutout for the headlight.  Would like to remove taillight as well and use a fender that does not incorporate the extra plastic liner for the taillight. I don't really need the lights and given time they will just get broken anyway.
What model/year would I look for that will bolt right up without a lot of fuss?
Links if anyone has done this?

Thanks, I will look into that. I am surprised the aftermarket has not sorted this out for us. Not everyone needs the light.

Enduro engineering makes a bolt on kit that includes an odometer bracket, number plate, and front brake line guide for about $65 USD. The number plate appears to be off of a 2019-2020 SC250/SC300 model (the cross country version with no lights) although I am not 100% positive it is. As far as the rear fender, the black fender support, which includes the tail light, can simply be unbolted and removed. This may weaken the rear fender though as the fender support is a fairly thick and sturdy piece. I personally kept the headlight and removed the rear fender support with the light and have not had any issues.

My EE kit came with an early CRF 450 plate. Works well. easy to remove and put the headlight back on.
