Lithium batteries dying ???
« on: November 06, 2021, 04:38:11 PM »
Hey has anyone out there had any issues with the batteries dying on the 300 factory 4 stroke 2022 ?

Rode 10 hours no issues then it went to the Gold Coast Sherco to have the indicator and light wiring loom fitted, as they left it off from out the box. Then 2 hours later the battery/ bike died on me in the middle of a ride. Took it back they initially said the stock batteries were shit from Sherco and would change for another brand. Went to pick it up Still the same battery they then said they used the wrong charger and fully charged and tested it so was fine (Bullshit ) 20 mins of riding later died again !!!   ??? Battery or Technician or both ??

Our 2017 300 SEF has an after market lithium battery (2017 did not come with lithium), and we had no issues.

before bashing on the battery the Technician should have made sure that the bike actually is charging the battery (stator, regulator , loose connections and so on). Did he control for those?
by the way the lithium battery that we have has an indicator, you push a button on the battery and it shows the level of charge, perhaps you battery has such a feature too?
