need clutch kit for 300se 2t 2020
« on: November 10, 2021, 10:46:07 AM »
Hi,
my clutch lost all free play and it's very stiff, I guess after 120 hours it may need to be changed,
Do you recommend stock or there is aftermarket alternatives?

alang, are we to assume you added this clutch pack or can you change just the plates?

Seems the basket sleeves (click on pictures and see last in link) would require special size plate.

motif, have you solved your issue? If pull got more stiff than initially then check for kinked clutch pipe, notched basket or dirty fluid. Let us know what you found. On my KTM's after a few years the basket would get some wear notches in it. I would file these down but once that was done they began to notch more rapidly as there was more slop between the plates and basket. The Rekluse design LOOKS like it would remedy a notched basket.

Hi, not yet. Will be checking cables soon and maybe will open the clutch cover. thanks

At the dealer all plates are kinda expensive, strange there is no aftermarket after so many years?

Here is an upgrade clutch pack, this has the fingers for the basket so I would suspect longer wear and smoother operation simply by the design characteristics-
