Hi.
I am using STIC on my 300cc FACTORY 2019 since 1 year with:

* S3 high Comp Head
* FMF GNARLY + FMF POWERCORE 2.1
*14x50

* STIC 113A
* PWK 36
* 7 SLIDE
* N8RG 3rd clip for spring and summer   /  N8RE 3rd clip for automn and winter
* 185
* 48
* AIR SCREW closed - 3.5/4

* I live in south of France, at sea level to 600m.

Now I am trying with a 6.5 SLIDE ...

What are your settings ?

If i remember your STIC is tube 114 and you have a 250 SER with S3 head High Comp ... Finally, do you have tested low compression insert ?  Do you prefer it to High Comp insert ?

#7 slide, 195 main, 50 pilot, 3.75 AS turns out, and switch between Yamaha needle 2nd clip or JD White STIC needle 4th clip....they feel about the same.  Sea level.  Gnarly pipe.  Soon to drop a S3 low compression head on.

I hope to have a SC2 installed shortly, awaiting shipment.  I will offset the cost of the carb as I have buyer for my fresh Keihin with only 10 hours on it.

Do you have tested with 48 pilot instead of 50 ? What did you feel ?

I have but don't recall what it was like.  I ended up at 50 for whatever reason.  I feel like you have more room for error with the STIC...a lot of self compensating it seems.  I have a STIC with exact same settings in my Keihin 36 on 300 Sherco and Keihin 38 on 250 KTM.  They both run perfect.
