Gas tank fitment
« on: December 16, 2021, 05:31:57 AM »
Took off tank to change carb
Needle. Can't get it back on
Correctly to line up with
Side panels. Any suggestions?
Maybe carb rotated?

Maybe the throttle cable got moved and is causing it to get hung up?

I pulled the side panels off, then
Tried again the best I could.
Putting side panels back on,
It looks pretty close to where
It was.  Like my 2017 sherco,
The tank's lowered section is
A tight fit. Thanks

I had the same issue on my 2022 250 SE.  It was binding up on the wiring harness stuff that is tucked and looped around in under there.
With tank off remove the ECU, tuck and reach thru, tuck the fan realy, and other stuff up between the frame rails. Zip tie things so they stay under frame rails. If you fiddle with it you can make so it will slip right on. Tight fit in there. While you are at it tape a few fuse's to the frame and sharpie what they go to.
