We produce a very popular Akrapovic Silencer Guard at P3 Carbon for the Husqvarna TE449/511. If we can get enough people on board for a Sherco Akrapovic version, we can put it into development.

I had this guard on my 511 & it was very good.
I'd buy one for the SEF300 Factory if it was available.

Thanks for the feedback guys! The problem now will be sourcing a Sherco 4-stroke with Akrapovic silencer for in the West Virginia area for product development. Any volunteers?

Do you need just the Akro or the whole bike?

I received the carbon fibre guard from Virus Racing. It only took four days to ship from France to Australia.

I think it looks good. Note it didn't come with the Akrapovic sticker. I sourced that separately from eBay.

thanks for the photos.

in that position, doesn't the tire hit the bolts?

I also bought this guard and arrived yesterday.

Yes, I think the tyre did hit the bolt on the clamp. After my first ride after fitting it I noticed the rear clamp was bent out of shape and scratched the inside of the silencer (doh).  I'll adjust it so they are out of the way. Just goes to show that there isn't much room between the tyre and silencer.

the same company (Virus Racing) is selling a pair of spacers to change the place of the silencer slightly to the outside in order to avoid the tire. I think that a ordinary spacer will do the same.
